This is one of those paintings that I still wonder about. It's been 3 incarnations, painted one on top of the other. this one almost has space... but I sure wish I'd painted the foreground forward, just a little further.... then it would make a little more sense... do You agree?..... hey, by the way.... I've noticed there's this urge to "lose the gut" these days... and I love how fitz said, "getting back to his my old fighting weight".... yeh, me too, me too. ... me too
