doug lipper, the master art jeweler, owns this one. In and out of his studio, members of Def Leapard walk... mostly Rick Allen... the drummer who got his arm torn off in a freak accident while on tour in Rome, some 13... 15 years ago. Rick plays with his shirt off, one armed, and with special peddles. I was happy to see doug's music honored by Rick, and proud that I helped doug a little, some years before then, when his son was getting ready to pass on. this painting represents what we can do for each other, if we do not run when the challenges face a friend. Long distance, I feel this HOPI guy (in the painting) congradulating us all for surviving. You know, the Hopis plant corn 3 feet deep, in the desert and it grows fine. They have and ancient system. they have bonded with the land... the do not treat it as enemy.
