John fitsimmons... the Ftiz, with his half shaved face 1976. Hip before hip was hip. In this year, the year of 3rd year Art academy, I'd earned my way back via last years portfolio review. Year by year, you got re-upped to another session, performance based. We'd all gotten to know each other by then, sadly one of my current friends at the time, Aaron Moore, was not so thrilled about John's tree shaking antics. On the one hand, I was enjoying shared cofffee breaks with folks separate from what now looks like too much of a clique. John and I were always on good terms, but never as close from here on out... until these days almost 30 years later. At the aha! center in Palo Alto, in 2004, I sat in front of a newly set-up DSL connection and blanked my mind. I asked myself this question, "who is reachable, right now, of the many of shared friends... who would I want to search and find?".... I was very surprised to hear "John Fitzsimmons'" name pop into my head. so, I did the search, and found him at a Mini-Cooper modifications/design company in N.Y. I did not e-mail him then....and, believe it or not (this is absolutely true) the very next day, I got an e-mail from John Fitzsimmons. And you say consciousness/heart connections aren't real? think again... far better than a phone line... instant... real... beyond time or space. Proof positive. The obvious questions are, "who thought of who first?"... easy obvious answer is this, Doesn't matter. It takes both to make it happen, and my guess is that equations like this are best enjoyed not studied too closely. there's a whole batch of people you are connected to. Quiet you mind and send what you will. My best guess is that the more open, more positive flies fastest. yes. You don't need religion (organized) or jargon to justify anything, purpose, intiention work fine and are pure enough.
